Great set. Still searching for a place to find some to capture. Not much time left, don't think they will be around here much longer. Will have to find a better spot to put a feeder next year where the raccoons won't suck them dry over night.

Great set.

Number 3 is my favourite.
Thank you sir. Mine too.

Thank you much. I position a chair so I can catch them hovering away from the feeders. These feeders are very small ones and we have them on tiny little shepherd's hooks in a flower box hanging from a railing. That way the chance of getting flowers in the pic is increased. Their need for the nectar is too strong for them to ignore. We will be losing these within the next month probably. My gf had never seen one until she moved here to Pennsylvania, so she keeps the feeders available for them. Hope you get a chance soon!

That's exactly how I had my feeders, on a shepherds hook off my deck railing. Then one night I noticed a couple plastic pieces pulled out of the spouts and all the nectar gone. This happened three nights in a row and then one night I finally caught the raccoon in the act around 1AM.
My other feeders have baffles to prevent the squirrels and raccoons so I will have to do something similar with the hummer feeders.

Very nice set! the last one for me.
Thank you!
All very nice. Is number three a different bird?
Thanks. It might be. We have at least 3 that visit the feeders and they all get chased off or chase the others off, so I really don't know.

I believe they are all Ruby Throated. I think in Northern-eastern US and Eastern Canada we only get Ruby Throated.

I meant a different individual but yes that's the one I would think you would get there except for a fluke.

Very nice set.
Thank you!
