Todays photo shoot C&C appreciated

Here is three images from the shoot that I was on today. My model wasn't in the "mood" so I was only able to work a short time with her. If anyone has any suggestions or feedback feel free to C&C

idk, looking at pics 1 and 2, her being not in the "mood" really shows

pic 3 looks too set up and fake, perhaps a change of pose, costume, and backdrop would have done a better job

It was really hard to photograph someone who didn't want to do be there, however, despite that I think they are okay.

Was a flash used in number 2? Or some other sort of direct artificial/natural lighting?

I diffused my on camera flash as well a using a reflector.

One is good framing but has a soft focus. really dont like three. Too bright and whats up with those pants?

Like I said she didn't really want to be there. She was modeling for me as a favor but I worked with what I had.

All three images are excessively contrasty. In the B&W shots, you have an inky, black sweater, and blown highlights, with no detail in the sweater, loads of gray tones, and then a very,very limited range of highlights, which are mostly, blown-out; this tells me that the images need to have their tone curve adjusted. These two images need some detail in the black sweater, and a more-subtle rendering of the highlight areas. In the last shot, the color one, I love those pants!!! SO feminine, so pretty, in keeping with the stereotypical view of the harpist as a feminine, lovely, refined woman. In that shot, the highlights are also blown out, and her black sweater is detail-less,and her skin tone appears rather pinkish, so I think you need to work on the color adjustment on that one. Maybe add a bit of cyan to the reds in Selective Color.
