Here are 3 pictures I took today of a Senior in my area. I would love some C C on them. I know on #2 I should have gotten his legs in the picture, but I didnt think about it at the time.... The train had 2 cars left and we wanted to get a shot before it went on. I also feel this one might be a little soft?

What else can I do to improve these? Thanks!

Try not to position him near a bright white door. Your eye tends to wander towards the brightest part of an image, and in this case (#3) it pulls almost all of the attention away from your subject.

They are all very soft due to the shutter speed used, too slow

The locale seems to be a bit on the 'thug' side of the spectrum.

The focus seems away from the face on them? Like more around the chest area. I like number 2 with the train whizzing past and his feet being missing doesn't bother me at all, infact i think it could do with crop from just above the knees. Have you tried to sharpen them and maybe tone down the highlights a little?

Using off camera flash (OCF) and some reflected light would improve them.

The lighting is very flat and the Senior just doesn't 'pop'.

By using strobed light, you can make your subject brighter than the background, which is how you separate your model from the background make, or make your model, 'pop'.

It looks like you have little experience or knowledge of posing.

#3 should have been a vertical and/or he shouldn't be so centered.

As mentioned these all look OOF. And your subject is centered in every picture.

They're all soft. Don't worry about the legs in the second one. Just don't chop off at joints or tips.
