Tokina EL 28mm f2.8 on nikon d60?

Hey guys i have a nikon d60 body and i was wondering if the [h=1]Tokina EL 28mm f2.8 will work with the d60.Its nikon AI fit but the seller says that it wont work.Will it be equivalent to a 42mm lense ?Also he has a pre AI fit lense will that one fit?Thanks[/h]

The D60 does not have an in body focus motor. If you want autofocus you will need to buy AF-S lenses which have an inbuilt focus motor. You can use other lenses on the D60 but you will have to manually focus.

Afraid I have never used Tokina lenses so cannot help you with that.
