Errrr this image confuses me. It looks like the lights were too bright and he needs a towel! However, I assume there is a reason why he is dripping wet I just don't see it (hence the confusion).

Yeah, I am not sure I get the concept. Maybe if the scene was different, but the plain backround?

Ditto, I have no clue on the concept. Is he sweating from a workout...or perhaps is he crying like a teenage girl?

I agree with the above comments, but offer the option that maybe he just needs makeup for oily skin.

I like it. I didn't catch how wet he was until I looked at it bigger, but once seen bigger he's clearly wet.

I don't care that there's no rhyme or reason to it, it's a concept and it's ambiguous. This might be pushing the envelope here, in the following sense:

There are pictures with no secrets. You look, you see what's going on, you're done. There are pictures where you cannot tell what the hell is going on, it's all confusing, there's nothing to hang an idea on. Both ends of this spectrum are basically failures. In the middle we have pictures with some ambiguity, some mystery, and also some things that are clear and known. These pictures give us a basis for understanding, but also allow us to react and to find our own story to fit the picture, our own emotional response, our own reaction.

This one feels like it's pushing up against the 'what the hell?' side of the spectrum, but it's not past the fenceline -- for me, anyways.

Also, I generally like the way you're handling light. I like a lot of darkness in a picture, and you're doing a nice job of creating that breadth of tone without just burying stuff in the blackness.

Yes, the way the light is played across the face of the guy is excellent. Very nice lighting effect!
