Too good to be true?

There are a load of cheap flash units on ebay for my D70s.

Has anybody gambled on one of these? Are they worth the cost?

Just save up for an SB600. Putting a poor-quality device in your hotshoe could cause a short and damage the camera itself.

I might stay away from no-name brands like that...but you could certainly get a usable flash that is not a dedicated Nikon flash.

Save up for a SB-600 or 800. If anything by a "grey" market (direct import) one from B&H and save a few bucks.

i can 100% garauntee that if you put that on your camera, it would burn up and start smoking right away. i bought three of those for my D50, each one did the same thing. DO NOT BUY THOSE.
