Too much of a contrast

Here is a picture of part of the Olympic training center with a snowstorm decending over Pikes Peak in the background. The contrast between the sharp concrete and colors of the building and the misty, distant Peak (about 15 miles behind the building) makes for a very odd looking picture I thought. I don't especially like it from an aesthetic point but something about it draws my interest. It look even to me as if two non matching pictures had been stitched together.

I would have to agree with you on both points, it does capture my interest somehow, and it does look like 2 different photos... I would keep this photo- this is the type you can have alot of fun with pshop just because you can put all sorts of (ironic) backgrounds behind the wall! Especially if you wanted to poke fun of the USA Olympic team ;)
 
i like it .. it almost look surreal ... i think its a keeper
