Too Snapshotish?

I think my images are still to snap shotish? What do you think?

In my mind, a snapshot is only when the person doesn't care whether its a good picture or not, so these are clearly not snapshots.

Could these be better? I think they could. I think a good picture implies some feelings, emotions, ideas that extend beyond the edge of the image. The photographer does this by using all the tools available, focus, depth of field, composition, color.

I look at these pictures and don't get what you are trying to get across. Perhaps you could approach these pictures by figuring out what you want to represent or to tell and then try different ways to get this across.Maybe more of the context, maybe more expression of feeling or interest, more color - I don't know.

I do know that the fact that you care about making them better sets you a step ahead of the game.
