Took a few today of some birds CC please

Hey, I took some photos today it was freezing out and I couldn't seem to focus and get anything right. My pictures are to dark but what do you think?

I like the first image. Not knowing your camera lens or exif info makes it difficult to give advice.
That being said, The Chickadee is super small and a lack of light make it harder to get precise focus. Use spot focus and spot metering to help with that, also bump the ISO if necessary.

Yeah, this are tough shots to take. Especially if your camera is using evaluative metering because it will want to expose for the entire scene. Like HL45 mentioned, you'll want to use spot metering. Also, if you are using an type of auto mode, be it Auto ISO or shooting in Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority, I've found that increasing exposure compensation by a stop can help.
