Took a trip to the zoo

I'm a complete beginner, I just got my first SLR (a Canon AE-1 Program) about 2 weeks ago, but here are a couple of the shots that I think turned out well -- any comments or criticism are welcome!

I'm going next week for my birthday/valentines day

Gonna take a video camera too!

Nice shots there, especially like that second one...there's a real mood to it!

Too bad I never had the time to go there when I was in Edinburgh (which was only 2 entire days, mind you) back in ... when was it? 2003?

I really appreciate that you said it doesn't look like I'm a beginner, because I'm absolutely clueless and just trying to teach myself from the internet before taking a class this summer! Edinburgh is a great place, I'm lucky to go to university here.

Yep, that jaguar was an absolute ham, he loved the camera, as did the otters! It seems others on the forum share the same love I have for animals.
