Just hit the submit order button for my refurbished D800 and I'm feeling good (cue Michael Buble' lol).
I expect pyrotechnics to shoot out the camera with every shutter actuation, and my photos to suddenly be worth 1.2 Million dollars.
Am I setting my expectations to high?

And my debit card gets declined because apparently my bank doesn't allow transfers over $2500, and it;s $2551 LMAO.
I have to fax them a request.

Would have had it tomorrow. Now I have to wait

This is something out of a comedy. Maybe a sign haha.

So, the bank tells me that I need to fax them a letter stating the request. I tell them I don't have a fax machine,
so they tell me that I can scan and email the letter as well. Great!

I write the letter and scan it... the scanner breaks!!!! Worked fine a few days ago.
So after trying a few things to no avail... I say screw it and use my cell phone camera and email from my phone.
I call the bank back. I'm sorry we did not receive anything. Can you try again? Try again... nothing. So I decided to email myself
and then email them through gmail. It works! Great... After waiting 10 minutes on hold... the rep comes back and tells me that
I need to also add other information like my member number and why I need an increase, and and the last 4 of my card.

So I write all of that out. I pick up my phone to take a picture *Beep Beep* - "The battery is too low to use the flash".
So I bring it into the light in my bedroom and plug it in. I go to take a photo - the phone freezes! HAHA! Awesome.

I wait 30 seconds, and take the picture, and send it to my email. Nothing. No email received. I try again. No email received still. 3 minutes goes by,
and the rep asks if I would like to call back. I say Ok and sit. and wait. and nothing. after 10 minutes I give up and plug my phone into the computer,
get the image and email it. Call back. The rep left for the day that was helping me! LMAO! So now I had to explain the scenario to the new rep, and get put on hold for 10 minutes.
The rep comes back and says - Ok the limit has been increased, thank you for your patience. Oh if she only knew haha.

So, excited, I call Adorama back, tell them to process the payment and it goes through. Fantastic. I ask if they ship out immediately and the lady said yes, but unfortunately, the warehouse just
closed so it will be shipped on Monday. Haha oh goodness. Well, the good news is I'll have my Camera on Tuesday. The bad news is, my impatient ass I have to actually wait until Tuesday lmao.

WOW! That sounds like some of my buying experiences. I for some reason always wait until the end of the week to make large fun purchases. Then I sit there and check either my email or the tracking number every hour, just hoping to see some movement on my exciting purchase.
