To me, and my own very unsubstantial opinion... The first one is very overexposed but I think it looks like a creative exposure and very artsy looking. The second one looks underexposed and I just don't get it really. But that is just me and my 0.002c (yeah that is .2 cents)

both are very nice, but i like the second one marginally over the first. the red contrasts very well with the green, nice bokeh balls btw. what lens?

IMO, the first one is over exposed.

Second one is better but again no real color...nothing really pops out. The one real thing I like about number 2 is the bokeh .. Keep trying! don't give up!

Have you desaturated these? The color feels a bit drained/lifeless. I do like the bokeh in the 2nd, but the color is killing it for me.
