Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So after all the replies i decided i was going to go back to the peak and take some more pictures of the city at dusk/night! I think this one came out considerably better. The only gripe was the damn smog!!!! but i cant control that! Instead of my sigme 17-50 i used my canon 85 f/1.8. Came out way better then the last batch. anything i could do better?

85mm f/11 20" iso 100

I would love to view this printed LARGE!

The intertubes aren't doing it justice, I am sure.

I can't offer technical advice as I do not know anything of night photography. But I will offer howyour image effects me :) . Vegas is very colorful. That's what makes it one of the most beauitful nightsapes in the world. When I was on the plane leaving vegas, I looked down and the lights are soo colorful and vibrant that you can still make out the strip from the plane while all of other areas are just random dots. And to me the lights are very yellowed and not a true representation of what vegas is.

This is more what I see in my mind when I think of Vegas strip. But please ignore the badly done 10 second edit :) jjust giving you an idea of how the vibrancy of the colors of the lights could be and what I remember from vegas!

That's what stuck out to me. Again, I don't know much about night photography so better let someone else say what they think about your progress/exposure/focus!! Who knows it could be a complete success :)

imainly i was working on getting the city much sharper then my last shooting i did there. Previously i was clearly shooting at to small of an aperture. So i shot at f11 here. it came out much sharper

It looks a lot better to me opened up in Lr.... but i can see what you mean blackrose.

So the edit looks better even MORE yellow?

The original looks fairly accurate to me.

Well yeh you would have to spend a lot more time to make this a Good edit, I just changed up the tint a bit to bring out some colors, I wasn't trying to tone down the yellow.

To me these are more the tones and colors I expect to see when I think Vegas strip. I found Vegas was one of the few places that is actually as beautiful as represnted on TV, in photos and travel guides.

You also changed lenses with a significantly different focal length. When you want to make comparisons, it is wise to only change one variable @ a time.

I would have liked to seen a little les sky and a little more of what ever that is below.

I didn't see the ones before, but I do like this with the exception of what I said above. I find myself trying to look down.

I took a few with the Sigma, but earlier in the day. I compared them with the others from previous day and the are clearly sharper... but i just didnt like the picture as much. Also, looking through the viewfinder i felt i could get even more zoom so i tried out the 85 and liked what i saw.

Gross? Real technical. Guess you don't actually read through what you comment on. I stated quite a few times in this thread that this edit sucks. You should really read through a my responses again. Lol.
