lol Derrel...I want to put the dings and scratches on my own chit, thanks though!
First let me state, and for the record, that Adorama has been stand-up in all my contact with them. They have policy as any company will and due to circumstances (I believe) beyond their control I ended up with the last kit which happened to be damaged.
The people I have communicated with were very understanding and made the return as simple as possible. All postage paid. A refund pending upon return and a $20 coupon for my next purchase for my troubles! I wouldn't want anyone be nervous based on my single experience which ended well...I was just bummed but I'm not going to hesitate to continue using Adorama for my future purchases.
Now I did go and buy the same kit locally, only added expense was the tax. I also picked up a roll of neutral grey seemless. I have a shoot planned for Friday afternoon if I can get the brackets to wall mount the roll before then.
Again, I feel confident that the good people of Adorama stand behind their commitment to their customers and no, this wasn't a paid advertisement, I just don't want to cause anyone or anything negative feedback for something beyond control.
