well, it's tough for me :)

I'm sure you guys know the answer --

Here's my problem ... I have an XSi and when I upload my images to my laptop they are in JPEG -- Capitalized format

the system I'm using to upload them from my laptop to my website ONLY recognizes jpg -- lowercase format

suggestions?

thanks everyone -- finding this place was a blessing to us

have you tried renaming it and physically typing the .jpg extension?

^ thats what i was goin to say

.... and to simplify it, search out for some freeware batch file renamers. The one I use (don't know the name, it's at home) I can rename, add to the names, and replace certain characters, such as the .JPEG extention to .jpg very easily.

I rename all my files to "YYYY.MM.DD_subject_default camera file name.jpg" and I use a batch renamer to do it to all files right after I upload to the computer.

One other quick "newbie" question --

How do you crop the size of an entire batch of pictures?
