Since nobody liked my last offering I'll lay this on ya.

I call this rose bush our "toilet paper rose" bush. They look great until they get this big & then they look like wadded up toilet paper. And they have absolutely no scent at all.

So.... I have to make sure I get them when they're small.

Excellent use of DOP to accentuate the main subject.

And they have absolutely no scent at all.

Getting close enough to smell a rose, means getting close to it's thorns. Seems like a trade off to me. I don't need to smell them.

Maybe it's my monitor but the focus of the rose seems a little soft but it's a neat shot anyway.
