Trans-Am Racing

Today I went to Lime Rock Motorsports Park in Lakeville, CT. I shot the Trans-Am series. A lil different than what I am use to but I was able to work with one of motorsports finest photographers. On top of that I was able to use the new Leicia M9. Very expensive but fun to play with. Here are a few from today.

Nice set. Being from the old school of motor sports, I really love picture one. Photographically speaking, picture #5 of the red Corvette shot through the guard railing is by far the best of the lot.

All your pictures seem in focus to me.

The bw pic is a 31 million dollar car. Ferrari GTO. Joel pm me with your email, I can send you the full res file. They may look soft because of compression through attaching. The D3 is sharp!

These are already pretty big files, guessing that this is the size they came out of the camera? if that's the case at 100% they still don't look sharp. The close up on the tire is definately out, in a couple, the rubber on the track behind the car is sharper than the car. If you say they're soft because of compression ok, I know that it happens.

I like #1. Is that a Lotus?

And #6. A scene seen at every car event, from suburban driveway to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Men standing around fancy cars, holding drinks, and making awkward comments.
