I spotted these growing about 10 feet up a tree this morning.
Shot with my Canon 70-200 and a crappy, old Canon T6.

Did you climb up the tree or how did you get them at eye level?

OK, must just be the shooting angle that makes them look eye level, for me anyhow.

Thanks, Lez. IKR! Neither have I. Here's a line from an article on oak fungus that I copied: "The fleshy, moist conks produced by this fungus range from 2 to 12 inches wide, and are bright orange-yellow on the upper surface and red-yellow on the underside."
