Tree Eclipse

When I was out for evening hike and when I walked passed this tree again, I saw this photo in my head and I made it happen the best I can. I even walked around a little extra longer so the sun would be in the right spot. I think it worked out well.

Just trying to do something different than I normally do.

Nikon D610 + 16-35 f/4 at 16mm, 1/160, ISO 560.

I am upset with myself now. I don't know how I didn't see that.

That's pretty cool. I might have framed it a bit tighter to bring the viewer in a little more (or shot with a lens that was a little longer). But I like the sunlight coming from behind the tree, excellent. I like it in B&W too, emphasizes the light and dark contrast.
