Very nice b&w. The first three images from "emotional" PoV don't work for me, but "The Path" and "Cannock Chase" (!) I like. The color one has very nice atmosphere and I guess, that's what you were going after as from composition PoV maybe not so great. (At least for me as I don't like too much half a trunks on the edge of the frame. Sorry.)

Yes that is what I was after, the half a trunk if because there we're a few branches in front of this but they weren't a nice colour, I wanted the colour of this tree and the depth, so I thought I'd have the tree in the side of the frame and the depth leasing out from that.

4 and 6 work best for me. I like the coloring in 7, but the empty space in the lower right hurts the photo.
