I just feel like blending her into the environment, instead of floating does wonders:

same thing for her outline. It's too perfect of a cutout. There should be a feather so he hair blends into the sky better. See a few yt videos on hair masking in photoshop; something like this:

the shadow cast itself looks good.

I'd now work on blending the shoes in to look more real.

The shadow I created was 3 layers; one was what you did. Then I had two focused, darker shadows just under her shoes. Just drew a soft oblique shape under her feet and set the layer to multiply and lowered the opacity. Then I duplicated the that layer and applied a motion blur to it.
