Tricking my scanner

I was given an early holiday gift, an RB67. I currently have an epson 3490 which is not medium format ready. Is there a way to trick it in to scanning the full 6x7 image rather than just a 3ishx7 strip down the center?

A new scanner is not in the cards for a month or two, and in the next few weeks I should be setup to do some wet printing, but in the mean time Id like to be able to scan to see some results.

Hey randerson,

I have the same scanner. I bought it used and without a film adapter -- so I made my own:

The problem with scanning medium format is that the backlight on the scanner is not big (thick) enough. I think the best thing you can do is scan one half of an image and then the other half. Otherwise, you'll have to find another backlight source, or another scanner.

Scanning half at a time if what Ive resorted to for now, its a pain in the rear.
