Went to sheikh zayed grand mosque in abu dhabi. what do you think of this photo and how could it be improved

The crowd control ropes are spoiling this shot. Go closer, frame tighter, crop out the ropes, shoot details, get some human interest in there (populated with a few humans) etc.

The dome does not seem to be totally center of the opening and the wall is not totally perpendicular with the camera. The lack of colour would lean towards BW version.

I would leave the ropes in and be very careful about photographing people in a mosque in the Middle East.
