Trip to Namibia, Day 3 (many photos)

On the third day, we went to a Nature Reserve with very interesting trees, but I don't know their name in English. "Aloe dichtoma" they are called by the biology people. And we went to the "Giants' Playground" with big rocks.

ohhh thanks once again... third time :P great to see those pictures!! they are amazing... very exotic for me!
 
Raymond, I'll put myself in touch with my sister and relay your question to her, for I am quite sure she'll not come here during the week. But from what I know, it was quite hot. Not unbearably hot, but ... yeah. Hot. But very dry. Desert heat, you know (most parts of Namibia are desert: Kalahari, Namib...).
 
I love that last one with the huts with roofs that look like the rocks!

Of these, only Photo 1 is digital. The others are scanned prints. And it is a pity to see how much they suffer...
