Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
So I am still relatively new to photography and I'm still having difficulties understanding lighting. Could anyone provide articles or something? I'm don't really understand how I should use it or if I'm using lighting correctly

What kind of lighting? Natural, or in a studio setting?

Your question is far too broad.

Per recommendation of many members of this forum I picked up a copy of "Understanding Exposure." I've really enjoyed the book and I'm glad I added it to my collection. I also saw it at our local book store so you might find it at yours.

I mean natural lighting. Like I will be in my backyard and the sun will start setting and I may want to take a picture of a flower or something. How would I use the lighting the sun gives off?

I definitely recommend having some sort of lighting when you are taking photographs. Taking photos without any light is very difficult.

Make sure the sunlight is shining on the flower, either directly, or indirectly.

Indirect lighting can be accomplished using a reflector.

A reflector can be low-tech, like a piece of white foam board you buy at Wal-Mart, or a silver reflector made for the inside of a car windshield.

My reflector is the matte-side-out of aluminum foil wrapped around a lid of a banker's box...works pretty darn well...

If you don't understand light, you might as well give up
