I may continue with this "theme" of the bleeding rose. Suggestions for better blood? molasses.. hmm think i could find this easily in the isles of a standard food store?

Nice shot - I think the ageing on the poem doesn't quite work, maybe try staining it with some tea then drying it out, then burning it a bit - could be good!

thank you tempra; i have done the tea trick prevously for school projects and the such. wasn't quite what i was going for but i could not get the flames to photograph so this is the "aftermath" shot.
