What's new

Trying again. A few auto shots for some C&C, Please.

Haha when you said stock lens I knew you were going to be a car guy lol...

lol why is that?

I didn't post that one because I thought it was a little over saturated. I mean I took over 150+ easy. That is why you see the same pose. I would start out wide and then move in. I was also laying on the ground trying to get as low as I can.

Why is the hood of the green one open? I'm still a noob also, but my thought on these is that they are pretty good pictures, but as someone pointed out, they are pretty good pictures of the stuff behind the cars. I think maybe you need a wider lens and get closer to the cars so that the cars are the focus? Or something. I'm not sure I have any good advice on how to fix it, though.

Thanks....Yeah, I want a 10-20mm or even a 70-200mm . But that will have to wait for now. The hood is like that because it's a trend. Better cooling, blaa....blaa stuff.

I did just order my Canon Polarizer filter today and a lens hood. Next I will be saving up for a better lens.

2. I know about the poll in the back ground. Could do nothing about it.
There is plenty you could have done. you could have moved the car a few feet forward, you could have changed the angle of your shot.

The last shot of the first post had some potential, you have a puddle right next to the car, I'm assuming you parked it there for a reason, you could have gotten more reflection there, and really used it to your advantage. instead the shot came out rather dull, there is no contrast, everything is the same tone.

The Scooby has a great look, keep shooting it and you will get some excellent shots. One last point. You don't always need to fit the whole car in the shot, play with different angles and perspectives.

Very interesting shots. Like the color.
