shots are cute.. lighting is ok. Framing on #2 and #3 is not that great... why not shoot these portrait?


#1 shadow under hat could be a little lighter... and the highlights on the forearm and face are a bit bright...

#3 focus is on the hat, not the child.. but that may be intentional (I don't care for it). The watermark is intrusive and distracting... and not needed here.

Thanks.....how can I make my lighting great? I completely agree with the shadow and highlights......a project for ps Hat was intentional I have others with face focus...thought it was cuter this way. Thank you for the input on the watermark

maybe go here... http://www.lightingdiagrams.com/Creator play with it.. show us where your lights / reflectors / windows were, how high they were, etc... need that for pertinent suggestions....


A reflector bouncing light up under the hat brim would have worked well on #1...

The "new set up" seems to have a minmal effect on these photos. Perhaps if you could show me shots with an old set up I could make a more productive contribution as it relates specifically to that. If you are seeking CC for other general aspects of the photos then I think they are fine shots with the exception of the missed focus as noted on #3. Perhaps a tighter crop to heighten the emotion captured on this shot might be appropriate as well.
