Which flash? Is it off or on the camera?

I don't see much evidence a flash was used to make any of the images.
There are no catchlights in the little boy's eyes and there should be if flash was used.

Either you had it in manual mode set to a very low power, it wasn't in sync with your shutter, or it didn't actually fire.

well from the last picture, it looks to be liek an external flash set at a lower power setting, and pointed up and bounced.

KMH, btw, you know anywhere i can find a good tutorial for my 480ex II? Im still trying to get "good" with it

I'm using an SB600 mounted on the camera. But I believe I was using 1/16 power.

I did bounce it off the ceiling
