Trying Something New - C&C Appreciated!

Shot this one today at home. I asked wifey to stand in front of the window (it's overcast, and raining), and tried to blow out the background as much as possible, while maintaining proper exposure on her face.

Thoughts? I think it was pretty successful, but who knows.

Ok nice. I think I prefer b/w as the colour version seems to be over saturated. Great b/w shot though. Which do you prefer ?

I like both, but the B&W shot appears to be much more flattering, IMO.

I find the pose distracting with the raised hands & also agree the colour version is way over saturated. Love her big eyes.

nicely done...looks like you accomplished what you set out to...and well.

i think the ONLY little nitpick i have, and might just be an opinion...i think i would close up that aperature just a tad so your DOF is slightly deeper. again, purely personal opinon.

On the color one, I didn't do anything to make the colors match (intentionally, anyway).
