trying something new (C&C much appreciated)

Tried something new with the editing on this pic. Blew out the background (there was some detail there) and then softened her up to kind of make it look like she glows.

When I was editing last night, i didn't like how the colors were shifting when I was blowing it out, but I'll try and go back tonight and see if i can edit a little more. I think my biggest problem was the lens flare that doesn't look like too big of a deal in B&W went all crazy with color.

I like it, but there is a funny shadow line on her tummy, and that lens flare on her hip is distracting. If you find a way to fix them make sure to post an update!

I agree--ditch that funky highlight and lens flare and you'll have a winner!

i think the funky highlight is from my flash. I'll see if I can get her out here again to do one with and without flash to see what works best
