In search of developing my own style, here are some pictures from last night's shoot. What are your all's impressions?

As for the grain, I know it's there, in fact, most of it I intended to be.

The black and whites are kind of dark and brooding, which works if that's what you were going for.

I'm not digging his really dark face in #3 though. It makes negative space the wrong place.

REALLY dark on the face in 1. The composition is weak. He is dead center and it doesn't balance
2 I like dark. I think I'd like to see it cropped so that he is more to the left and got rid of the top of the building.
3 I think that it needs a little boost in brightness.

Well, yes. But that wasn't the #1 image when I first saw the post. However his eyes in that one were dark black holes in the original.
His pink and blue hair is unique, but it draws from the gritty, james dean feel of the images in the color ones.

I like the cropped revision and I much prefer the B&W to the color.
