Two Bald Eagles

The Eagle way up top on the tree and White Pelicans at the bottom.

This one decided to go for breakfast

It took off across the pond and landed about 30 feet from the bank

Startled this young Great Blue Heron as it flew over its head

Then it took off running into the water and snatched up a catfish. Sorry about the poor quality shot but it was shady on that side of the pond and 1/125 doesn’t cut it for flight shots.

Back to the tree

Meanwhile the other Eagle flew to a nearby Oak Tree

Then it took off towards the big lake nearby

Other than the awesome shots of the eagles flying and catching fish, I really love #3 for the composition.. Beautiful captures Hunter!
