Two shots of my girlfriend for CC

Hey guys, my girlfriend and I went to Balboa park in San Diego over the weekend and I managed to get a couple of shots that I thought came out pretty good. Let me know what you think and where you think I could improve. Thanks!

I think they are both great! Only one suggestion- you may want to leave a little more room below her hand. Its good it didnt get cropped but I think its too close.

#1 is underexposed. Since her hair is a large part of the photo, I would have used some flash to lighten it up
#2 is a great pose, nice highlights to her left side but the crop doesn't work. All that space on the right does nothin for the photo except show off some sort of bridge or something. Some fill would have been nice too and it would have brought out her eyes more

Overall, not bad. Don't be afraid of the flash. She's a gorgeous girl, go out and do another session, I see lots of potential

Thanks for the feedback you guys. Yeah I need to start playing around with my flash. I have an sb700 but haven't really gotten used to using it yet. For 2 I really liked the color of the fountain, but I couldn't think of another way to incorporate it. Any thoughts?

#1 looks like it has some motion blur and this is not a great angle. Doesnt look natural. #2 is much better. Good focus but the framing is a bit tight. Her hand is really close to the bottom of the frame. Try to keep the space above the subject and below even. If you had the extra quarter inch on the bottom like you do on the top this would be almost perfect.
