# love #2.. vibrant!

#1 is too concrete for me... maybe if the boards were off center... don't know! :)

Thanks, Charlie! Number 1 gave me a lot of work due to the variety of elements I wanted in the frame and all those lines going in every direction. While I like the results, I'm still not sure this was the best composition. Cheers!

I like the texture. Nice series.

O God, How many times i had walked past such things and ignored them!!! :meh:

fantastic colors... i would prefer a more horizontal image for the first, for which i won't mind even a trim

Regards :D

I actually like #1 over #2. IMHO, #1 would be a much stronger composition if you off center the lasp and the Ad Hoc latch over to the right some. the vertical board then could be used to help frame the image.

Close-ups from you! Who could have expected this? Seriously, this is a good thing. I love the color and texture in both, but have to agree with others about the composition not quite being there in the first. Perhaps better as a vertical with the boards slightly off center (I'd include a little more on the left).

That's quite possible. That being said, I did want the "strings" of paint that are on the right to stay in the frame. Like I said earlier, so many elements made composing this one very tricky :)

I used to do a lot of this type of photography before moving on to focus on other stuff. While not everybody likes abstract or semi-abstract images, they are an amazing way to improve one's composition skills.

I don't think I have any images with more on the left, but I do agree that this one could be better composed. If I ever go back to this area of the province, I'll definitely try to find the place again and give this shed another shot.

Thanks everyone!
