i was given this bottle of wine(?) by an inlaw. i pretended to know what the hell it is, but in reality......i don't have a clue. i'm a country hick and the only kind of wine i've ever drank had a screw on cap.

anyone have a clue as to what kind of wine this is?

How wierd ... I received one just like it as a gift at Thanksgiving time! I drank it .. it was very GOOD!

It's a Riesling, unlike a chardonnay or sauvignon blanc , it's pretty sweet and mellow. I'm more of a red wine person myself
