Underwater swim/dive

The diving shots are interesting as it shows how the divers skin reacts to the water. All the photos were shot in indoor pools using the avaliable sunlight that was coming through the glass ceiling, shot in different pools. Diving shot are more luck than anything, just watched where the divers were hitting the water and pre focused on the bubbles and waited, it was all guess as to when they would hit as I couldn't hear or see the divers.

great shots! i love #3, good composition and overall a striking image. shame about the rectangular filter, or whatever that is in the bg, it would be perfect otherwise. nothing you can do about that though.... unless you want to fiddle with a clone tool for ages. and as you said, the ripple effects on the skin are great!

just for fun... you could try rotating the 3rd image 90 or 180 degrees clockwise, might have an interesting effect.. kind of like a shuttle lift-off, you know... those things that used to exist....

I was amazed when I saw the skin, even on the thinest divers it does the same thing. I've showed the one tighter shot to other photographers and they said the same thing, you don't see it on tv. it would look great in super slow motion.
