Another first for me... Shooting live hockey.

I think I did ok for my first attemp. Especially considering my glass is NOT well suited for this. I used my Canon 50D with the EF 75-300 f/4.0-5.6.

AND I gave it a shot in Manual mode... So it was kind of like 2 new things at once.

Where's the action ? no puck in any shots, i suspect all the action shots are too blurred because of your shutter speed

Yuppers... My lens won't allow me to use a faster shutter. But I am saving my pennies...
