Upcoming trip to Bermuda

Its been a while since I’ve posted, but yet Im back seeking more advice. I’m taking a cruise this summer with a three day layover in Bermuda. I plan on taking my Canon 7d, 24-70L, and 70-200L along with a tripod. Any recommendations for filters? With the bright sun on the ocean water, sand and beaches, Im thinking a GDN filter might be useful??? Anything else I should consider bringing along?


Will mostly be photographing friends along with the island.

GDN is good... maybe a polarizer as well if you already have one.

Here's my advise. Make sure you temper your body and lenses some how. You will be up out and about the cool air on the ship will create condensate havoc for your stuff with the hot humid air of Bermuda.

As for your list, I think you have it covered.

I did that cruise and got fine shots sans filters. Sky was partly cloudy and not alot of glare. Maybe a UV could have helped with the sand blowing.
