I convinced some friends to go downtown with me to shoot some freebie pictures of them. This was my first time to use my new camera for portraits (2nd time at all), first for urban, and first cooperating male. They were taken at 2pm, so the light was tricky.

I was experimenting on PP techniques, so #2 & #3 are processed kinda heavy in my opinion. Please critique. I'm trying to get better!

2. Looking back, I think her back foot should have been propped up or bent somehow to cock her hip out:

4. I really like this one, but the background is blah. Also, cropped a little tight on top and hand growing from chin...

Another great set. As you said in number two her weight would have been better placed on back leg,also in number 5 his weight would have been better on back leg . IMHO its always best to get the weight in back.
