Took a walk around downtown Columbus with a friend, as he was excited to put some more time in with his new wide angle (I forget which, apologies). I just thought I'd share, since I love unplanned urban shooting with the 135L.
Buildings old vs new, clock, guy leaning on Taxi cab are my faves. Good to see a distinctive yet small watermark, placed where it hardly impacts the image at all.
I appreciate the comments. I've been on a subdued color kick lately, so that was part of the plan. The third shot was definitely a fun one, once I saw the opportunity.
Yes, I'm with Leila here: good you are on your subdued colour spree. I like it in urban photography. I also like your choice of subjects, framing of subjects (i.e. composition), and choice of aperture (particularly in 1, 2, 4 and 6).
Images #3, 4, & 5 are the ones that stood out to me. Great angles, framing, and very creative perspectives. Selected color tone works really well with these to. Congrats, kudos are well deserved.
