Neither image is doing much for me.

They do have nice color and saturation, but the composition of the pictures just aren't working for me. Both are kinda busy and the blue top of that fire hydrant just seems really out-of-place.

#1 I rather like. I like the tones. I like the angles. I like the wind swept petals. It is just a little busy. It might have been better to get closer to the 2 center left flowers you focused on, with a little bit less of the background flowers, or less depth of field.
Some might think it's a little dark, but I think it's a decent shot.

#2 *pffft* did you not see the patio umbrella stand (lol, fire hydrant? whatever)? What was your reasoning for shooting it? It says nothing to me. If you could have moved it, this would have been an interesting shot.
