Ok, well, I'm working on the name but it'll have to do. I was walking down an alleyway by this old mill I wanted to check out. On my way there was a pleather chair and couch setup behind one of the buildings that caught my eye.

I like everything about it aside from two details.

1st: Being that the furniture and wall are white which bothers me because the tops kind of blend in.

2nd: I had cropped the top of the photo out. You could see the sky and it just seemed to take from the focus. The issue is I can still see the roof and I'm not sure if it really takes from it. You can tell the angle that I took the photo but I don't want it to be perfect.

So, what do you think. Please don't be kind but give me your honest insight.

it is boring at best. The reasons you stated are correct so I think you already knew that.

I've always liked pictures of chairs - they often seem to be trying to tell a story, at least to me. The problem here I think is that the building above the white wall doesn't really add anything. The real image is what you get from cropping just below the line of bricks at the top of the wall. You then need to decide whether it works better tilted or straight. You might be able to darken the wall just slightly relative to the chair and couch.

Thanks, I really wanted this to come out nice but when I loaded it up on my computer for editing it didn't live up to my dreams. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
