What makes the shot work to that last little bit is the square framing, and the way he dominates the entire frame space; many people would have shown him in a wide-aspect frame, with lots and lots of dead space off to both sides, but this tight crop to a square-type format emphasizes the man's solidity and mass, and adds to the feeling of authority, of dominance. Good choice on the framing/cropping.

Nicely done altho the saturation slider seems pushed to 11, just a bit short of orange peel.
