Nope!! I have seen low shutter (8k-20k) going for around $1700-$1900 so I don't think that is worth it. Just my opinion though, I am looking to buy one in the next while myself so have been paying attention to prices

I wouldn't. It's near is max rated shutter life. Not saying it won't last longer but at that price you can get a better condition d700 and you can add a grip. Or a few more bucks and you can get a good condition one with warranty from KEH.
