Used from Adorama

I was wondering if anyone here has ordered used from Adorama and has a clue on how good there grading system is?

There's a lens I would like to purchase but it's in "V - Very Good" Condition and don't quite know HOW good that is..

I know some people say BGN from KEH is very nice condition, and didn't know if Adorama had strict requirements too before I made the plunge.

Call them up... They are pretty good about describing the item over the phone.

I just got a "very good" lens. Works like a charm.

"Very good" should probably be self-explanatory, if you aren't satisfied see if you can get your money back.

But I'm sure it's in really nice shape.

N = New Comes complete as packed by manufacturer with warranty except where noted.
D = Demo Demonstration condition almost like new, might show very light use.
E+=Excellent + Very clean
E = Excellent Shows normal wear, might have minor scratches, glass clean.
E - = Excellent - Average wear, may have small marks but no brassing
V = Very Good Shows heavier wear, works mechanically fine
G = Good Shows extra heavy use wear, glass might have scratches, usable
F = Fair Beaten up, sold as is

Straight from adorama, pretty straight forward. Sounds like V = "Definitly used and you can tell it, but works fine"

got a sb600 in E condition. I have to say that it was definatelly in excellent condition.
