The second image is just about life size. Small, fast and they make a lot of quite abrupt turns.

hang in there with this one. the ones around here stay very close to where they are first found, all through the season. Be sure and try to get a shot when its foggy drizzly....those colors really really show then with no blow out.

This one doesn't come out much at all until it warms up. My next goal is to get one snatching a gnat out of the sky....you know, all crisp and perfect...maybe I'll live to achieve that task .
