Very first attempts at Macro C+C would be great!

Ok got my D5100 a few weeks ago, got my Tokina 100mm f/2.8 AT-X Macro today, went on a little nature walk. I am totally new to the finer aspects of photography and am clearly still learning. This is my first attempts and I don't know if I should be posting cropped photos (I am cropping a few as I see fit) or whole... I am just going to throw a few out there at the mercy of you fine judges.

Learning experience for sure... took 250+ pictures. These crops are all that I liked out of all of them. I learned I need to have a higher number (larger number) f/stop because on most I didn't have as many elements of the target in focus that I wanted and I could have easily fixed it. (I think)

I like the ants, I just wish they were more centered and the feet weren't cut off the bottom critter.
