Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Extreme newbie here...literally bought my camera 2 days ago. I'm not a fan of reading manuals so i just started playing with my camera. What do you think?

Hmm, picture of a picture.

The B&W image needs more contrast.
Background does not seem to fit with the primary subject.

good start. Get more of the tree in the background instead of half cut off . Good start though

I like this photo a lot. It has mystery and it breaks a compositional rule, or at least turns it on it's head. Probably not intended, but still.

A little gray, and I don't agree that more tree should be in the frame. There's enough there for us to know it's a Christmas tree.

I'm not a fan of reading manuals
Few people are.

Users manuals are not written like a novel. They are dry, directly on point, and have no embellishment whatsoever.

However, they contain important information about how your particular camera needs to be operated, and it describes all the functions and features you paid for.

Many advanced shooters carry their camera and other users manual(s) in their camera bags just in case they want to use a feature they aren't very familiar with.

What do you think?
I think photography is a skill that has to be learned, and that a person making a concerted effort can become an advanced photographer in about 2 years.
