Walking into the light

We went for street photography on the weekend and this is my favorite photo
of the day.

I like the concept, but I wish the white area were a little smaller. I guess the scene didn't permit that, and I'm not sure if cropping a lot off the top would help or if losing the sort of bracket at the top would be worse.

A fine photo. I'd crop off the top just enough to get rid of the bracket. The bracket is a distracting.

This pretty much sums it up or me.
Have you tried lighten the brightness of the background? I find it a little too bright

too tight, just the bracket. The vertical space is important here.

ya, 7x5 or 4x3 aspect ratio should do it for you. Keep everything at the bottom.
